Hive Box 39x24 Adamcova Míra, Polyurethane

The hive box is designed for 39x24 Adamcova Míra frame size. The polyurethane material provides excellent thermal insulation – a 3 cm wall equals 12 cm of wood.

The hive box is molded as a single piece of polyurethane – monolithic construction. No fasteners were used, ensuring high durability and strength, even with a 3 cm wall thickness.

The hive box holds up to 13 frames of size 39x24.

Allows the placement of dividers:

• 1 divider: splits the box into 2 sections (6 + 6 frames).
• 2 dividers: splits the box into 3 sections (3 + 6 + 3 frames).
• 3 dividers: splits the box into 4 sections (3 + 3 + 3 + 3 frames).

To use this hive box with dividers, a special bottom board is required, which is currently under development and will be available soon.

Each hive box has its own ventilation opening with a trapezoidal closure and cork for easy ventilation control.

Painting Instructions

Polyurethane is not UV-resistant, so we recommend applying a protective coating after 1–2 years of sun exposure.
✔ Lightly sand the surface before painting to ensure better adhesion.
✔ Use a UV-stable paint (synthetic, water-based, or two-component).
✔ A properly applied coating protects the hive for up to 10 years without the need for repainting.

Potential Disadvantages

⚠ Unpainted hives may have a shorter lifespan and may begin to peel over time.
⚠ Small air bubbles or minor imperfections from manufacturing do not affect hive functionality and are not considered defects.
